The Deep Puerto Rican Advantage

Local production strengthens the island and the investment case.

Puerto Rico currently imports 85% of its food, and because of a law called the Jones Act, shipped food can cost up to 40% more than on the mainland. From our high-elevation home in Jayuya, air temperatures run roughly 10°F - 25°F cooler than much of the island, helping us grow locally what is often imported at high cost.

Island Economy

Keeping capital, jobs, and value in Puerto Rico.

Import Substitution

Replacing imported food with local, high-quality production.

Jones Act Advantage

Lower shipping exposure and a protected market dynamic.

Jayuya Climate

Cooler high-elevation air expands what we can grow locally.
